Penrith spiced pepper

Use to flavour all meat dishes and pies. This is a very old recipe made up by Tom Smith of Penrith. Used by many farmers to flavour sausages.

Preparation
1-2 minutes

Ingredients

  • ½oz white pepper
  • ½oz nutmeg
  • ½ ground mace
  • 3 level tsp cayenne pepper

Method

  1. Mix together and keep in airtight jar.
