• 1 small tin condensed milk
  • 4oz butter
  • 4oz caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup
  • 4oz rice crispies
  • 2oz chopped nuts
  • 2oz chopped cherries
  • 2oz dates
  • 2oz mixed fruit
  • 2oz chopped apricots (no need to soak)
  • White chocolate


  1. Put milk, butter, sugar, and syrup in pan over low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring to boil and stir for 3 minutes until a golden brown.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Press into lined swiss roll tin and cover with melted white chocolate.
  4. Leave to cool and cut into fingers.
