Choc-nut squares

Ingredients

  • 6oz Plain cooking chocolate
  • 2oz Butter
  • 3oz Caster Sugar
  • 2oz Chopped Cherries
  • 2oz Chopped Walnuts
  • 4oz Desiccated Coconut

Method

  1. Melt chocolate. Line a 11x7 inch tin with foil and pour in the chocolate. Leave to set.
  2. Beat butter and sugar and then egg. Stir in coconut, cherries and nuts. Spread over chocolate and bake for 20 minutes at 175C
  3. Cut into squares while warm, then leave to go cold. Invert onto tray and then peel off foil.
